p. 27 instead of “remunerative crops there (sugarcane, cocoa, citrus trees, and later on, others, such as cotton and coffee.)” READ “remunerative crops there (sugarcane, citrus trees, and later on, others, such as cotton and coffee. They cultivated native cocoa as well, and transported slave labor for these plantations.”

on p. 173 this airplane, rather than actual passenger plane, was a figment of the artist’s imagination.
